
Lowell began her acting career with the film Dangerously Close followed by a minor role in the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. 4 She progressed to roles including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, from 1996 onwards, as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the television drama Law & Order, a character she reprised in the year 2005 to play a guest character in the spinoff series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and also on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched to a 21st season. [6] Prior to being cast in the role, she was dissatisfied with her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking course. [4] In the mid-2000s Lowell had a break from acting. Lowell gave her voice and her likeness to Lowell as she reprised her Licence to Kill character in 007 Legends. In 2018, and was on Blue Bloods as a guest. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him from 1984 to 1988. [9][10] From 1989 until 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell got married to actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11after the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere that was born in February 2000.
