Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen (born 6 May 1964) is a Danish actor from Denmark. He was a character in the drama series The Killing. Copenhagen mayoral election candidate Troels Hartmann in the drama series The Killing, Charles Augustus Magnussen in the third series of Sherlock, the Russian president Viktor Petrov in the American House of Cards on Netflix as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels. He was given the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011. At the age of 27 He enrolled in the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated from the institution in 1995. Apart from his appearance in The Killing, [1] He also appeared in Borgen III, a Danish drama that was widely popular.
