Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many abilities, which included the ability perform, direct production, create plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for productions as a young girl and watching her mom at work. As a young girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated from Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in the year 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got weddings in the month of December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows during the Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton the month of April in 2011.
