Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of goals. She was raised by a mother who loved to watch films. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities, and she was a huge fan of drama. She was a member of her class as well as participated in school productions. She was a part of numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a career. She attended The University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and enjoyed her stint. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. Her career began as a television production assistant after completing this assignment. Then she began producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of being an actor. Her career in acting started with an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Her roles have since been seen in many films and TV series.
