Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, who was born into the Mormon Church's First Family employed her creative talents and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 with the title:"No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. The name was taken from the title of a sermon that Joseph Smith delivered in 1844, when he shocked his hearers with the statement: You are not my friend and have not heard my voice. My past is not known to anyone. Nobody knows my story. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment, at least three writers have stood up to this challenge. Certain writers have deified and even abused his character, whereas others attempt to identify the problem. It isn't that there aren't enough documents however they're wildly contradictory. The task of assembling the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a masterpiece that creates credible the history. is exciting and enlightening. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. The fruits of her research as well as her writing earned her the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historical account (1974) Posthumous.
